1. What we collect

If you submit a request as a traveler: your name, email address, travel dates, neighborhood preferences, budget range, the service category and concerns you select, the reply language you choose, and any notes you write. Your concerns may describe skin, hair, or aesthetic goals — we treat this as sensitive and share it only with the matched providers who respond to your request.

If you apply as a provider: your business name, contact details, service categories, neighborhoods, and account credentials, plus a ledger of credit purchases and usage.

Messages: follow-up messages between you and a provider are stored so both sides can read the conversation, together with machine translations of them.

Payments: processed by our payment gateway (Toss Payments) — we never see or store full card numbers.

Cookies: essential cookies only — authentication session cookies (provider and admin sign-in) and a preference cookie remembering your reply language. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

2. Why we collect it

To qualify and translate your request, match it with relevant providers (booking brokerage), deliver their quotes and messages to you by email, operate provider accounts and payments, provide customer support and notifications, and keep the platform safe (email verification codes are stored only as hashes and expire within minutes).

3. How long we keep it

We delete personal data without delay once its purpose is fulfilled, except for records Korean law requires us to retain: records on contracts and withdrawal of offers (5 years), on payment and supply of goods/services (5 years), and on consumer complaints and dispute handling (3 years) under the E-Commerce Act, and website access logs (3 months) under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act.

4. Sharing with third parties

By the nature of the service, your request details (concerns, dates, neighborhoods, budget range, notes) are shared with the providers matched to your request category so they can prepare a quote; your contact details are shared only after a provider unlocks your request to respond to it, and are kept for the duration of the consultation. Beyond that we do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law — and we never sell your data or run third-party advertising trackers.

5. Processors (including overseas transfer)

We rely on a small set of processors: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Hostinger (hosting infrastructure), Google Gemini (request qualification and Korean brief generation), DeepL (translation), Resend (email delivery), and Toss Payments (payment processing for provider credit purchases). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. Your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop processing it, subject to records we must keep by law. Email contact@kglowmatch.com from the address you used and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Destruction

When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, electronic files are deleted irrecoverably and any printed material is shredded or incinerated, without delay.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will announce it at least 7 days before it takes effect (30 days for material changes to your rights) and update the effective date above.
